The position

Reporting to the Deputy Principal, the Senior Human Resources Advisor is responsible for the delivery of a strategically aligned human resources function to ensure the attraction, development and retention of high calibre staff.

The successful candidate will have the ability to provide expert advice to the Senior Leadership Team relating to culture and engagement, employee relations and talent management.

Key accountabilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • developing and implementing a five-year People Plan, in alignment with the School’s Strategic Design
  • ensuring the School’s talent management strategy is effective, and open to continuous improvement
  • managing and evaluating the School’s Leadership Development Programme in consultation with the Senior Leadership Team
  • working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to strengthen capability and maintain a high-performance culture
  • providing strong advice about employee relations, including information pertaining to managing performance, grievances and investigations
  • providing quarterly Board Reports, and statistics for use in publications such as the Annual Report.
