We are seeking to partner with the School community to raise at least $2m in philanthropic support to provide outstanding facilities for teaching and learning for current and future generations of Grammar girls. The Science Learning Centre is the School’s most substantial building project to date. The project will be financed by a responsible mix of reserves, borrowings and philanthropy.

How you can donate to the Science Learning Centre

Gifts of all sizes are welcomed. Donations can be made as a single gift of any amount, or through a multi-year gift that is pledged over two to five years. All gifts are fully tax-deductible under Australian law and a receipt will be issued once a gift has been received.

Join our Wall of Thanks

Donors gifting $5,000 or more towards the campaign have the opportunity to participate in the Wall of Thanks, which takes the form of the Periodic Table. Donors may then choose an element in the Periodic Table, acknowledged in their name or their family’s name, on the Wall of Thanks.

The Wall of Thanks will be located on Level 4 of the Science Learning Centre.

If you would like to arrange a confidential discussion about supporting the Science Learning Centre, please contact Director of Development, Ms Georgina Anthonisz, via email or phone +61 7 3332 1383.

A sense of curiosity is what leads us to prevent and solve challenges, from conserving our marine environment to providing sustainable global food sources—and that desire to question and discover must be nurtured at school.

—Professor Helene Marsh (BGGS Alumna 1962), Emeritus Professor of Environmental Science, James Cook University
