This seminar series is open to fathers with daughters in Years 7 to 10, and will equip fathers with information and strategies to help them understand, relate to and communicate with their daughters.
Reflecting the School’s commitment to engaging and strengthening our partnership with parents, we are delighted to offer a seminar series developed specifically for fathers—Fathering an Adolescent Girl: The What and How.
The two-part series will feature presentations and discussions in a relaxed, engaging and fun environment. Refreshments will be provided, and each participant will receive a booklet containing key information discussed during the seminars.
6.30 pm to 8 pm, Tuesday 27 August—The What
6.30 pm to 8 pm, Tuesday 10 September—The How
Ms Jody Forbes, Director of Student Counselling, will deliver the seminars. Mrs Jody Forbes has worked at Girls Grammar for 15 years and has worked closely with fathers in supporting their daughters.
Registration is essential and attendance at both sessions is recommended.
