Year 8 German Students Refine Their Speaking Skills

As part of the Year 8 German Program, students learn about describing places and clothing, asking for directions, buying tickets, sourcing tourist information and verbalising their opinions. Girls also learn about German grammar including singular and plural forms, nominative and accusative case adjectival endings and pronouns, future tense and revising prepositions. Throughout the term, a number of activities and resources are used to help the girls with their learning.

Earlier this term, girls participated in a class fashion parade and in so doing, described one of their friend’s outfits. This activity enables students to practice their oral language in a relaxed social setting.
