The P&F Uniform Shop has been advised of a manufacturing defect affecting some 2023 batches of Senior School formal hats, which has caused a distinct pinkish discolouration.

A recall and replacement process will begin from Monday. Students whose hats are confirmed to have this fault will receive a replacement hat at no charge.

Please note this issue is not normal wear and tear, but a clear discolouration caused by a manufacturing fault.

To help manage the process smoothly, return and replacement sessions will be held during second break and staggered by year level.

  3. Uniform Shop staff will check the hat to confirm whether the manufacturing fault is present.
  4. If the hat is confirmed to be faulty, it will be retained and a replacement hat will be provided.
  5. The replacement will be recorded against the student’s Uniform Shop record.
  6. Students will be asked to clearly name their new hat before leaving the shop.

Students should only bring their own hat for checking. Hats belonging to siblings or other students cannot be assessed unless the named student is present.

Please note over-the-counter sales will not be available during the scheduled recall sessions.
