Journey to the Heart 2025 Parent Information Evening
In September 2025 Brisbane Girls Grammar School and Infuse Travel are leading an Art trip to the Heart of Australia.
Over a period of six days, students will visit a variety of locations around Alice Springs and its environs. As well as making art in the natural environment, there will be a series of cultural engagements including a traditional painting workshop, a visit to the incomparable Alice Springs Wildlife Park and a deep dive into the past at the historic Hermannsburg Historical Precinct. The colours of the landscape, the shapes of the rock formations and the surprising flora and fauna are breathtaking.
The trip culminates with two days in the Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa National Park visiting both beautiful sites. Students will take away, not only artworks of their own making to be proud of, but memories of a beautiful and ancient land unique to Australia.
Our parent information night will take place on Wednesday 20 November at 6 pm where more information about the trip and how to sign up formally will be shared with parents and students. Student expressions of interest and deposits are due by Friday 29 November (Week 9).
We look forward to meeting you and discussing this wonderful journey!
