The Drama Studio Semester 2 Program
The Semester 2 program, available to all students in Years 7 to 12, will begin on Thursday 16 June, Week 1, Term 3.
Next semester, students will create an Interactive Cyber Drama with a virtual performance outcome. This is a project-based program where students will develop wide-ranging creative skills, including: improvising; devising; acting for screen; voice; movement; and characterisation. With a strong focus on devising, students will work together to create an online Interactive Cyber Drama. The drama will showcase multiple interweaving storylines based on strong females in history, allowing the audience to choose their own adventure through the online platform.
This is an exciting opportunity for any students interested and no previous experience is required.

Workshop Series 2—The Actor Prepares
Open to all Year 10 to 12 students, the Drama Studio will begin its second workshop series in Week 1, Term 3.
The Actor Prepares is a workshop series facilitated by Backbone Youth Arts guest artist, Mr Lucas Stibbard. Students will explore acting skills and approaches to script as solo artists. Across 10 weeks, girls will develop their ability to prepare for auditions with a focus on performing monologues. Whether you are interested in auditioning for school Drama productions or university courses, or just want to build your performance skills, this is the perfect workshop series for you.
With no experience necessary, this is a wonderful opportunity to try something new and build your confidence as a solo performer.
