Queensland Health yesterday updated its COVID traffic light advice level to ‘amber’. At this level, the advice is that masks are recommended in certain settings, including:
- healthcare settings
- indoors, especially if you can’t socially distance
- on public transport
- if you’re required by a venue or household.
We continue to encourage girls to stay at home if they are unwell or symptomatic with flu-like symptoms. If a student becomes unwell during the School day and presents to the Health Centre feeling too unwell to remain at School, we will contact their parents. RAT tests will continue to be available through the School’s Health Centre.
The girls are welcome to continue to wear masks at School should they feel more comfortable doing so.
We thank all parents for their ongoing support.
