Girls Grammar celebrated the first day of Term 4 with the opening of its stunning new Science Learning Centre.
There was tremendous excitement among students and staff as they explored laboratories, classrooms and the inspiring staircase to the sky. This building is as unique as it is extraordinary, with teachable moments imbued throughout to invoke wonder and awe among the girls.
From the breathtaking central void that invites sunlight and stars into the building, and fish tanks that offer a glimpse into life under the sea, to colour schemes that echo the lifecycle of stars, the building itself is a scientific experience for our girls.
The inspiring new building will nurture and develop Grammar girls’ scientific skills, and signifies an exciting next stage in Science education at the School.
