Ms Karen McArdle

Ms Karen McArdle joined Brisbane Girls Grammar School in 2025 as the School’s inaugural Head of Junior School, bringing more than 20 years of experience in junior school leadership and a strong commitment to girls’ education. She is passionate about supporting Grammar girls through the transition into their senior years of schooling.

Ms McArdle leads the Junior School with a focus on warm, inclusive and purposeful learning environments. Working closely with staff, she is committed to excellence in teaching and learning, and to the holistic development of each student—academically, physically, culturally and emotionally.
