Ms Sarah Frew

Ms Sarah Frew commenced at Brisbane Girls Grammar School in 2017, bringing a wealth of leadership experience across academic and administrative domains. Most recently serving as Dean of Administration, Ms Frew has previously held positions as Head of Faculty (English) and Head of Junior School (Studies). She continues to specialise in English teaching at BGGS and is also an accomplished Music teacher.

With a strong grasp of the evolving demands of education, she offers expertise in both boys’ and girls’ schooling, academic care and school administration. Her contributions include strategic planning and supporting students in their academic endeavours.

In her current role, Ms Frew oversees the daily organisation of the School, Educational Travel and the School Calendar—including incursions, excursions and events—as well as a range of academic functions, including the School’s study skills program, assessment scheduling and implementation.

Ms Frew reveres scholarship and is passionate about nurturing dispositions of confidence, curiosity and resilience in her students. She strives to equip them with the tools necessary for active citizenship and future success.
