From Year 8 German

This Semester in German, we learned a variety of interesting facts about German food. For instance, most recipes focus on tasty bread, potatoes, and meat—especially pork. And in many homes, people usually prefer warm foods, rather than cold, except for breakfast, where cold meat platters are eaten. For lunch and dinner, meals such as Currywurst, or Schnitzel, which have been heavily influenced globally, are eaten as their main dish. To wrap up the Semester, students celebrated Germany and their food through traditional dances and music.
