Until recently, we had hoped that you and your fellow classmates would join us in October to celebrate your milestone reunion.
Due to ongoing concerns about novel coronavirus (COVID-19), and associated Queensland border restrictions, the School has made the decision to cancel reunions scheduled for the remainder of 2020.
While this news is disappointing, ensuring the health and safety of all in the BGGS community, including our alumnae, is our priority. Many in our alumnae community have also indicated they would prefer to gather when everyone in their cohort can return to Girls Grammar from interstate or international locations.
In the spirit of our reunions, we have created videos of photos from your graduating class, to help you feel connected to your fellow Grammar women, wherever you are.
We are actively seeking alternative dates to ensure our alumnae will have an opportunity to attend their milestone reunions in 2021 and beyond. In the meantime, a few FAQs to address questions you may have are noted below:
- all alumnae who purchased a ticket to attend their reunion will be refunded in full by Friday 2 October. For any enquiries, please contact Alumnae Relations Manager, Ms Antonia Swindells, on 07 3332 1437 or at GrammarWomen@bggs.qld.edu.au
- we acknowledge the importance of milestone reunions, and recognise that 10 years is a long period to wait for your next reunion. Once event and border restrictions ease, we will be in contact with a new date for you to celebrate and reconnect with your classmates
- if you have any photos you would like to add to your class collection, please email them to GrammarWomen@bggs.qld.edu.au
