As part of this year’s Book Week, Curious Creatures, Wild Minds, we invited Grammar girls to design an illustration for Gary Paulsen’s adventure novel, Hatchet. The winning painting was created by Keira Ryan (10E).
This year, Libellum also gifted a book to the Beanland Memorial Library. This is the sixth year Libellum has selected a book for the Library. Past gifts include the large, illustrated Harry Potter books. This year’s gift of the illustrated Narnia series by C.S. Lewis will be presented to Ms Euler at the final School Assembly.
The Libellum girls have had a great year, and it could not have been so successful without the enthusiasm of our coordinator, Head of Beanland House, Ms Christopherson.
