Due to the recent weather event and the extensive damage to the Downey Park fields, QGSSSA made the decision to abandon the remainder of the Senior Softball season.
While this is not the news we were hoping for, we are incredibly proud of the efforts and results of our three senior teams in this short season. Our Open and Senior Ai teams remained undefeated, and the Senior Aii team experienced wins on numerous occasions. We will still celebrate our short, yet successful, season at our end-of-season celebration on Tuesday 29 March, 3.30 pm to 5 pm.
We would like to thank the supporters who came along to our Saturday games, the parents and teachers who assisted with scoring games, the coaches for their expertise, and our coordinator, Mrs Williamson, for her support.
See you all again in Term 3 for the start of the Junior season.
