All three girls have actively participated in the Mathematics competitions and workshops offered through our Sigma Maths Program, including the QAMT Problem Solving Competition, the Australian Mathematics Competition and Maths for Young Australians Challenge and Enrichment programs. As part of the AMOC training program, girls complete a series of problems each month and submit their solutions via email. A number of support sessions are organised throughout the year.
Well done to Samantha Tang (11L), who was also invited to participate in the Australian Mathematical Olympiad in February. This was a significant achievement.
We extend our warm congratulations to the girls and hope they find their mathematical experiences throughout the year both challenging and rewarding.
