After enduring years of drought, areas of North Queensland have experienced record rainfall and flooding, resulting in loss of stock, livelihood and homes. The Girls Grammar community has been moved by the strength of Australian farmers and the unity shown by the residents of Townsville.
While distance prevents providing hands on support, the Girls Grammar Service group will be raising funds by selling Zooper Doopers for $1 and collecting donations during the lunchbreak on Wednesday 20 February 2019. The proceeds will be donated to GIVIT, a not-for-profit organisation that will use the funds to purchase essential goods as requested by local charities to support those in need.
