End of Term 2

A burst of colour was seen this morning at Victoria Park as we celebrated the Interhouse Cross Country Carnival—a lively display of spirit and community that marked the end of Term 2.

You can read about the Cross Country accomplishments in today’s BGGS News and view a selection of photos from the day that reflect the girls’ joy in immersing themselves in sport and cheering each other on from the sidelines.

Last night, Grammar girls and their mothers enjoyed an evening together at our annual Mother and Daughter Dinner, attended by more than 1000 people. It was an occasion to celebrate the unique bond between mothers and daughters with guests enjoying an intelligent and humorous student-alumnae debate about ‘regretting the increasing popularity of influencing as a career choice’.

It has been a rewarding term for me personally, as Acting Principal while Ms Euler enjoyed much-deserved sabbatical leave, and I know she is looking forward to her return in Term 3.

I wish all of our families a safe, happy, and restorative holiday in whatever way you are spending it—perhaps overseas or interstate for the first time in years, catching up with family and friends or curling up on the couch with a good book.

Best wishes.

Mrs Anne Ingram
Acting Principal
