What a remarkable term this has been for our BGGS staff, families and students.
Our staff and students have responded to all that we have faced—not just COVID or flooding impacting them directly, but through caring for others—with a sense of acceptance, determination, and enduring optimism.
The joy of Blue Days and Galentine’s Day, the warmth of a gorgeous Mothers Autumn Luncheon and the exquisite performances of the International Women’s Day Concert reminded us of how much we have achieved and experienced, how strong our community is and what we look forward to in the months ahead.
For many, the Easter break is one of restoration—days at the beach, camping, or simply curling up with a good book. There is a sense of quiet and calm, a sense of enjoying those last warm days ahead of winter, and of looking to what lies ahead with a renewed sense of energy.
However you are spending your break, I wish all of our families a restful period and a happy return for our girls after the break.
