Cold/flu season update

While Term 2 has seen a marked decrease in student COVID-19 presentations, now that winter has commenced, the School has returned to our usual cold and ‘flu’ season management processes.

In the interest of the health of the School community, we request that students do not attend school if they are unwell, particularly with any COVID, influenza, or gastrointestinal symptoms.

If your daughter develops any of these symptoms during school hours, she must report to the Health Centre. The School Nurses will continue to triage students presenting with COVID/cold or ‘flu’ symptoms. If a student has had COVID in the past 12 weeks and feels well enough to remain at school, then she will be provided with a mask to wear. If a student has not had COVID in the past 12 weeks, then the School Nurse will provide her with a RAT and organise collection by parents.

Thank you for your support in keeping our school community healthy.
