Last night, the Fathers Group hosted the annual Father and Daughter Dinner at Victoria Park Golf Complex. More than 400 fathers and daughters attended the evening which was a lovely opportunity to meet other members of the School community, including new families commencing at Girls Grammar in 2020.
Highlights included a musical performance from the winners of the Gillies Vocal Ensemble and a Family Feud inspired quiz. Director of Health and Physical Education, Mr Stephen Fogarty, humoured the crowd as the quiz host. Congratulations to the Girls Grammar team comprising Ellen Dowling (12B), Sophie Sheppard (12W), Sarah Taylor (12O) and Brianna Wakefield (12W) on securing the win against our BGGS Fathers, Mr Mumtaz Saleem, Mr Rick Maher, Mr Colin Mills and Mr Darcy Rawlinson.
The evening was a wonderful celebration of the unique bond between fathers and their daughters. Thank you to all who attended.
