Walkley Award-winning journalist, Ali Rae (2005), will share her extensive knowledge about journalism and multimedia at our virtual Grammar Women: Leaders and Game Changers event next month.
Ali is a journalist and filmmaker for Al Jazeera English (AJE) and has covered stories in Latin America, southern Africa and the Middle East. In 2019, Ali won a Walkley Award for her work on All Hail the Algorithm—a five-part series that explores the impact of algorithms, biometrics and big data on our everyday lives.
Ali will be a panellist at the online event, engaging in a thought-provoking discussion about today’s media landscape, and why truth, facts and robust journalism are more important than ever before.
