In 2023, students in Years 11 and 12 will have three Independent Learning Days scheduled across the year on the following dates:
- Thursday 2 March (Week 6, Term 1)
- Monday 29 May (Week 7, Term 2)
- Thursday 10 August (Week 5, Term 3).
The Independent Learning Days are a new initiative that have been scheduled following feedback received from our senior students who, during the COVID-19 pandemic, welcomed extended time at home to work independently and dedicate to specific learning and assessment tasks.
On each Independent Learning Day, students may work at home, or they may choose to come into the School to work independently in a designated area. On these days, attendance at co-curricular activities will not be expected.
The Evening Study Program will run as normal on Monday 29 May for students to access should they wish, but attendance on this date is optional.
