The 103rd Interhouse Athletics Carnival was held on Tuesday 9 August. Staff and students enjoyed a glorious, sunny day at the Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre.
The results and presentations to the age champions and Overall Athletics Champion/s will be made soon. Presentation details will be published on Minerva.
Congratulations to two record breakers: Amaka Ekeocha (12W), set a new 16 years 100 m record of 15.35 s; and Alessandria-Jayde Tucker (12H), set a new 17 Years record for the 100 m with 14.87 s.
Woolcock won the All-Age Relay—the Interhouse Carnival’s final race—and will be awarded the Bochmann Cup for this event.
The hard work continues for the 140 squad members preparing for the QGSSSA Championship on 15 October. Training and the QGSSSA Meets at UQ and QSAC continue this term.
