Last Post Performance

Last week, we gathered for the BGGS Remembrance Day Assembly where we remembered and commemorated the end of World War I, on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.

This year, the Last Post and Rouse (bugle calls which are synonymous with reflection and hope) was performed brilliantly by Leah Diamond (10E), who produced the demanding calls on an original bugle that was owned and played by her great grandfather during World War I.

To the best of our recollection, this is the first time the calls have been played on an original bugle at a BGGS ceremony. Leah’s poise, professionalism, and skill were firmly on display during her playing of these calls, and our congratulations go to her for an excellent performance.
