Over the School holidays, three of our Year 12 students, Diya Chandy (12L), Serena Pang (12B), and Gabriella Stephens (12M), attended the START QUT (STEM Intensive).
The QUT START initiative provides students the opportunity to undertake a full university subject and gain academic credit. For the two-week period, more than 100 high-achieving students were invited to undertake a first-year undergraduate study unit in one STEM area, supported by a specialised teaching team.
Congratulations to Serena, Gabriella, and Diya for their participation in this initiative.
Serena elected to study the Design of Computer Systems unit, Gabriella studied Natural Disasters—Grant Challenges in Science and Diya selected the Engineering Design and Professional Practice unit.
