The 2022 QGSSSA Tennis season has now drawn to a close. Congratulations to all members of the BGGS Tennis Squad for their results—despite the rain and multiple cancellations throughout the season, each player was there to support their teammates and show respect to their opposition.

A big thank you to the coaches for the season. This wonderful group of people, despite challenges with facilities and weather, were always there to support the Tennis players and help them play to the best of their ability. Thank you to the Tennis players as well for their enthusiasm and determination. Congratulations on these wonderful results—all players should be proud of the way they, and their teams, played. An extended thank you and congratulations to the Tennis Captains, Emma Armitage-Ho (12R) and Maya Remedios (12G). They led their team, and the overall squad, with pride and enthusiasm throughout the season.
Lastly, thank you and well done to the group of Year 7 students who were members of the Junior Development Squad. Their skills have improved greatly over Term 2 and 3 and I hope they, and all members of QGSSSA teams, continue to develop their skills in the off-season, ready for trials in 2023.
