This week, Brisbane Girls Grammar School and Brisbane Grammar School united in the annual Quest.
The Quest is an established, and highly anticipated, BGGS/BGS Year 8 learning activity that engages our schools in peer-level problem solving for an entire day. Led by teachers from the Technologies Faculty, this year’s Quest targeted design, sustainability, ethics, marketing, and corporate branding and culminated in a three-minute pitch whereby students, in groups of five, presented their food packaging solution.
This year’s Quest genuinely highlighted the students’ energetic collaboration skills, critical problem-solving, and design thinking skills. The Quest aims to help our students cultivate important collaboration skills and improve their future problem-solving in diverse situations.
