Things you need to know

COVID-19 update

From 6 pm today, Friday 4 March, restrictions will ease in Queensland for face masks and other public health and social measures.

The easing of restrictions means that from Monday:

  • masks will no longer be required at the School, including for staff, students and visitors
  • masks will no longer be required indoors; however, masks still need to be worn on public transport
  • venues and events will no longer have density limits
  • parents and visitors will be able to visit the School.

It is a Queensland Government recommendation to wear masks whenever you cannot socially distance. If you have a personal preference to wear face masks on campus, you are welcome to do so.

The School is delighted to have our assemblies, camps, and co-curricular activities return to normal—except those that have, unfortunately, been disrupted by the floods.

Grammar Goes Green cancellation

Unfortunately, due to the flooding, Grammar Goes Green this weekend has been cancelled. We look forward to seeing you for the next Grammar Goes Green on Saturday 7 May.

In recognition of Clean Up Australia Day on Sunday, we encourage you to lend a helping hand to those in your community who have been impacted by flooding or even walk around your neighbourhood to pick up rubbish, if you can.

International Women’s Day Concert

Due to the weather and recent flooding, our International Women’s Day Concert has been postponed until next Friday 11 March.
