Marrapatta update

Unfortunately, the road to Marrapatta was badly damaged in the recent floods and is inaccessible to buses. Given the return of wet weather and the ongoing flood risk around Imbil, we do not believe that it will be repaired before the weekend.

Therefore, we have decided to postpone the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Practice Journey to the first weekend of Term 3 (15 to 17 July). The students will complete their planning and do final training and checks at Spring Hill on the Friday afternoon, and then set out on their Practice Journey on Saturday afternoon at a location to be advised, returning Sunday afternoon. This means that the girls will be available for their sporting commitments on the Saturday morning.

The School has also decided to change the arrangements for Mathapatta, which was originally due to be held at Marrapatta on Sunday and Monday.

Mathapatta will now be held at the Spring Hill campus, starting at 9 am and finishing at 3.30 pm. Morning tea and lunch will be provided for the girls.

Year 10 Exam block

Year 10 students will commence exam block on Monday 30 May and conclude on Friday 3 June. When not in exams, students have the option of supervised private study in the Barbara Fielding Room or studying at home.

Students attending the School to complete their exams and/or study are required to be in full school uniform.
