Things you need to know and important information about the Grammar Bus Pilot

Grammar Bus Pilot—update

The Grammar Bus Pilot has been operating for the past three terms, providing a bus service from Ashgrove and Clayfield/New Farm to BGGS and BGS.

While we have continued to refine the service following feedback from the School communities, including parents, unfortunately, the number of students using the bus services is significantly lower than the levels we had anticipated based on initial interest from families, and what is needed for it to be financially viable.

This has resulted in the difficult decision to discontinue the service in 2023.

We will continue to seek ways to improve transport options and reduce traffic congestion, particularly along Gregory Terrace, and will keep families updated on these initiatives.

Changes to payment at the School Café

From the start of the School year, students will be able to use Flexischools, debit card, credit card, and cash as payment options at the School Café, Tucker Up and Tucker Down. Students will not be able to use mobile phones to complete payment at the School Café in 2023. Flexischools is an online ordering and payment platform used by many students and integrated with the School ID card. In preparation for 2023, a Flexischools account can be set up here: https://www.flexischools.com.au/.
