Our Volleyball teams have had a very strong start to the 2022 Volleyball season, with teams securing fantastic results against tough opponents.
Some highlights from the first few rounds include the 7A and 7B teams winning their very first Volleyball games for BGGS, including convincing victories against Brisbane State High School, and the Open’s 3-0 win over a very strong St Peters Lutheran College team. It was an extraordinary display of teamwork and composure. This result is a testament to all the effort the players have put into training and bonding as a team throughout the season so far.
A special mention also goes to the following teams who are all placed in the top three of their divisions, going into the second half of the season: 7B; 8B; 9B; 10A; Senior B; Senior A; and Open. Well done!
Two important aspects of Volleyball are skills and communication, so our goals for the season are to encourage each player to put in their best effort during training to improve their skills, and to bond, with their teammates, so they can best support each other and communicate well during games.
We would like to congratulate all the Volleyball players for their efforts and excellent results so far and wish all the teams the best of luck for the remainder of the season.
