Last week, Come and Try Volleyball was held during lunchtime on Wednesday and Thursday. This annual event provides Year 7 students an opportunity to learn about the sport of Volleyball before signing up for QGSSSA Volleyball trials. All Year 7 students were encouraged to come down to the Sports Centre in their House shirts so they could learn the Volleyball skills of passing and setting, and have fun playing with their friends.
It was fantastic to see so many students interested in playing Volleyball and we’re looking forward to the trials next term. Trials will be held throughout Week 1 and 2 of Term 2 and the sign-on for trials is now open.
