On Wednesday 4 May, the Music girls in Years 9 to 12 were lucky enough to be treated to an excursion to Frozen: The Musical. The musical had links to the unit of Narratives being explored in Year 12, and the senior girls were able to use their knowledge of compositional devices to keep an ear out for techniques to use in our own compositions. The musical proved to be nostalgic for most, if not all, students as the Frozen movie was loved by many when we were younger. Some students described the performance as ‘epic, best excursion ever’, and ‘literally jaw-dropping, the nostalgia was unreal’. Many thanks to the School and Arts Faculty for this incredible experience.
