In Term 3, Girls Grammar delivered Fathering an Adolescent Girl: The What & How seminar series. The seminars aimed to equip fathers with information and strategies to help them understand, relate to and communicate with their daughters.
Following this seminar series, the School is delighted to offer Year 7 and Year 8 fathers the opportunity to attend a Social Media Masterclass: What Dads Need to Know, to be held on Thursday 24 October from 6.30 pm to 8 pm.
This masterclass will provide Year 7 and Year 8 fathers information regarding typical technology and social media use among adolescent girls, including social media platforms. The session will include a presentation, followed by a chance to ask questions in an open forum.
The Masterclass will be delivered by Manager eLearning, Mr Shane Skillen, and Dean of Students, Mrs Emma Lowry.
