SBS television series, The Hunting, explores the complexities of adolescent relationships, identity and sexuality via technology. The SBS, in partnership with the Commissioner of eSafety have created a Parent Discussion Guide, with tips on how to approach conversations with your children about online safety and the risks associated with image sharing and cyberbullying.
The guide provides clips from the series to use as conversation starters when discussing sharing images, schools and parents navigating through emerging technology, and helpful strategies and support.
The guide aims to promote self-awareness and knowledge of healthy behaviours in young people that will lead to positive experiences and digital identities.
SchoolTV also released a report earlier this term that discusses how to approach conversations about online safety and the risks associated with the image sharing.
