Year 11 and 12 Remote Learning Day

A remote learning day has been scheduled for Year 11 and 12 students on Wednesday 28 April.

Queensland’s unexpected COVID lockdown at the end of last term was a timely reminder of just how quickly things can change in this COVID-19 world. Remaining attuned to the idiosyncrasies of remote learning is a way in which we can safeguard the effective learning of our students.

Students will be expected to login into Zoom at the beginning of each lesson as a check-in. The exact nature of the learning activity will then be at the discretion of the class teacher.

I hope this experience will be a valuable exercise for the girls in this very busy term. This pandemic continues to demand that being prepared for unknown disruption is an essential component of our curriculum delivery.
