The BGGS Second Chance Committee is a Service Group that strives to provide support to women and children experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness in Brisbane.
Every year in Term 4, Second Chance hosts a ‘Christmas Gift Giving Tree’ to collect gifts to give to young women and children who may not receive anything at all this year.
We have had an outstanding response from the BGGS community and have collected a mammoth 296 gifts that we will deliver to Zig-Zag Young Women’s Resource Centre, Bahloo Women’s Youth Shelter, and Cherished: Home for young mums.
The Second Chance Committee would like to say a most grateful thank you to all of the wonderful families who have contributed to this appeal. We know these gifts will be greatly appreciated by the women and children who receive them this year.
