This week, BGGS supported Homelessness Awareness Week, which commenced on Monday 3 August. The School’s Second Chance Committee have been busy raising awareness of, and seeking to end, homelessness in Australia. On Monday, Second Chance sold Homelessness Awareness Week badges, with all proceeds going to the Second Chance Foundation, which supports Brisbane women experiencing homelessness. An art installation was also set up in support of Homelessness Awareness Week. Students and staff showed their support by colouring in a ‘brick’ on the installation with the provided paint pens.
