Second Chance invites the BGGS community to participate in the Homeless Connect Toiletries Drive. Homeless Connect is a Brisbane City Council outreach program that brings together businesses and community groups in Brisbane at a one-day event to provide free services to people experiencing homelessness, or those at risk of homelessness.
The project has helped more than 17 920 people as part of the Council’s commitment to improve quality of life for all residents, and to work with local communities to create a safe, prosperous, and friendly city.
Girls Grammar has long supported the program and encourages our School community to contribute what they can to this year’s Homeless Connect Toiletries Drive. Details are below.
What to bring: toothbrushes; toothpaste; shampoo; conditioner; soap; body wash; sanitary items; moisturiser; deodorant; sunscreen and insect repellent.
When: until Friday 7 May (Week 3)
Where: Annie Mackay Room
On behalf of Second Chance, we would like to thank you for your support, and we look forward to receiving your donations in the coming weeks.
