In Week 4 this term, the Uralla Club held a clothing drive, collecting donations for Queensland Children Hospital’s Indigenous Liaison Unit. The School community truly rose to the occasion. We have never seen as many donations in such a short period of time for a drive such as this. Thank you to all the parents, staff, students, and the wider School community for all your wonderful support. A special thank you to LUSH at Chermside for their generous donation of personal hygiene products, including shampoo and shower gel. In fact, we received so many donations from LUSH that we have passed some on to the Second Chance Committee’s Wishing Tree to contribute to gifts for services supporting vulnerable women across Brisbane. No doubt all these donations will be most gratefully received.
