This year, 63 Grammar girls will participate in the Queensland Girls Secondary Schools Sports Association (QGSSSA) competition, held on Wednesday 3 April 2019 at Clayfield College. We are delighted to officially welcome the Year 7 students who commenced training with the Girls Grammar team in Term 4 2018.
Each week, Monday to Thursday, the Artistic Gymnastics team trains at the YMCA Bowen Hills Gymnasium, under the guidance of the School’s of Head Coach, Ms Sarah Young. We congratulate all girls for their enthusiasm, hard work and strong attendance at training. It has been lovely to watch new friendships develop within the team.
Thank you to our current Artistic Gymnastics Coordinator, Mrs Harvey-Short, and last year’s coordinator, Mrs Kregenbrink, for their ongoing support throughout the season.
We encourage girls to continue pushing themselves at training and cannot wait to see you ‘fly’ at the QGSSSA competition.
