Cross Country Update

On Monday 25 March 2019, Girls Grammar runners participated in the annual St Aidan’s Anglican Girls School Cross Country meet at Sherwood Arboretum. The girls conquered the 3km course and made their coaches proud with their exceptional results. Easter Holiday Training

Easter Holiday training forms an important part of the Cross Country Team’s preparation. Training is held between 7 am and 8.30 am on the following dates.

Tuesday 16 April 2019
Wednesday 17 April 2019
Thursday 18 April 2019

While these sessions are not compulsory, all girls are encouraged to attend. Sessions start and finish in the McCrae Grassie Sports Centre. Girls are required to wear sports uniform and bring a water bottle. Sign on for holiday training is available online.

Upcoming Meets

Girls Grammar Invitational Meet, Wednesday 24 April 2019

The event is to be held at Rangakarra Recreational and Environmental Education Centre at Fig Tree Pocket. The bus will be depart the School at 3.15 pm and all girls are to arrange private transport home at 5.30 pm.

As the host School, we are calling on volunteers to assist with the canteen and marshalling. Please email Mrs Kate McCarthy if you are able to assist.

Rivermount College Meet, Thursday 2 May 2019

The final lead-up meet will be held on the QGSSSA course at Rivermount College, Rivermount Drive, Yatala. The bus will depart Girls Grammar at 2.30 pm and return to the School at approximately 7 pm.
