Throughout Weeks 3 and 4 of this term, the Years 7, 8, and 9 Softball players represented BGGS at Downey Park to compete in the QGSSSA Junior Softball Competition. Trials were held in Week 6, Term 3, with teams commencing training in Week 7, leading up to this year’s fixtures. Despite our second fixture being postponed due to the rainy weather, teams were excited to be able to get back onto the pitch for two more fixtures during Week 4, Term 4. The 2022 Softball season saw many tight matches, and all teams put in their best efforts to come away with some well-deserved victories against the other schools.

- 8A—fourth
- 9A—second
- Jnr B—second
- Jnr C—first.
We could not have had such a successful season without the help of our coordinator, Mrs Williamson, and our expert coaches. Thank you for all the work you have done in training us in preparation for our fixtures. We have really enjoyed playing Junior Softball over the last few years and are excited to continue with Senior Softball next year.
