Practice Games—Touch

On Thursday 23 February, the BGGS Touch Football teams competed in their first practice games against St Peters Lutheran College.

The practice round, held at Rangakarra, provided an excellent opportunity to test our skills for the upcoming season. It has been great to witness all the girls working hard at training in the lead-up to these games to achieve the best possible results.

All girls played with determination, enthusiasm, and displayed great sportsmanship throughout the games. Congratulations to the following teams who came out with outstanding wins against St Peters—Senior A, Senior B, 10A, 9B, 8A, 8B, and 7B. Also, well done to 7A who drew their first Touch game, 3-3. In particular, special congratulations must go to the Senior A team for their convincing 6-0 win.

Thank you to our Touch Football Coordinator, Mrs Nisbett, for this chance to put our skills into practice. All of our players and coaches should be truly proud of their efforts, and we look forward to building on these results throughout the season!
