The challenge of returning to sport in a COVIDSafe environment has been met with much enthusiasm and respect by all schools within the QGSSSA and BSRA associations.
In accordance with the updated QGSSSA Board’s decision this week, spectators will not be permitted at fixtures for a further two weeks. While disappointing for our girls and their families, QGSSSA has made this decision to maintain a cautious approach to the resumption of association sport.
The BSRA regatta season will also progress without spectators due to restrictions. The rowers will race in their first regatta this weekend.
Girls Grammar is very grateful to our families for their support of the School’s Co-curricular Sport Program, and their cooperation and understanding during this time. We look forward to a time where spectators will join together with our competitors at sports fixtures and events.
