The softball season commenced last week at Downey Park and we welcome all softball players to the senior competition.
Congratulations to the Senior B team who won against St Peters Lutheran College (12-9) and the Senior Aii team who placed first in their games against Clayfield College and Girls Grammar Senior Ai team. Well done to the Open team who also had a great start to the season, winning against Clayfield College (10-6).
The players’ hard work at training was reflected in their Round 1 performance and we were delighted to see the Girls Grammar spirit on the diamonds early in the season.
As captains, our vision for 2019 is to ensure each girl makes the most of the season and has the opportunity to refine her hits, catches and runs.
We trust teams will remain dedicated to their training and enjoy the rest of the season.
