The Girls Grammar community is invited to attend Sportswomen of Excellence—the School’s annual celebration of sporting achievement at Girls Grammar. This event will be themed around the 2020 Olympic values—friendship, respect and excellence.
Director of Health and Physical Education, Mr Stephen Fogarty, will lead a discussion panel exploring the topic, The Olympic Journey—what has it taught you about leading others? Girls Grammar Rowing Coordinator and three-time Olympian, Mrs Sally Callie, and Swimming Coordinator and four-time Olympian, Ms Suki Brownsdon, will discuss their Olympic journeys, coaching experiences and the importance of programs to maximise participation of girls, of all ability, in sport.
Blue Pocket recipients, national representatives and Sports Brooch Nominees will also be acknowledged on the evening.
