Touch trials

Touch trials will be held in Weeks 1 and 2 of Term 4, 2022. These trials are open to all students currently in Years 7 to 11 and will help prepare them for the start of the 2023 QGSSSA Touch season. Squads will be selected based on these trials.

Trials will be held on the following days:

All teams QGSSSA Games

ALL teams will be training on Thursday afternoons at Rangakarra, Fig Tree Pocket, from 3.20 pm until 5.30 pm, with the exception of additional/changed sessions when required.

Students will be notified of these additional/changed sessions via Minerva Daily Notices.

Return buses are provided for training sessions held at Fig Tree Pocket on Thursday.

Training venue:

  • Thursday—Rangakarra, Sprenger Street, Fig Tree Pocket

Please make note of the times and days that training will be offered. It is essential that once you sign up and commit, you are aware of what you are committing to.

Should you not be able to attend a training session, or decide not to trial once you have signed up, it is essential that you email Mrs Nisbett via jnisbett@bggs.qld.edu.au.

Students must wear their HPE uniform, football boots, or joggers, and bring two water bottles to trials.

Please note: if you have a clash, please ensure you see or email Mrs Nisbett to organise a different trial time.
