From the Captains
Welcome to the 2021 Touch Football season at BGGS. This year, Girls Grammar Touch commenced with two practice games against Brisbane State High School and St Peters Lutheran College. These practice games make a huge difference in our preparation for the upcoming season, as they enable girls to identify areas for refinement and improvement. The QGSSSA season is fast approaching and with the players’ dedication at training, we know this season will be a successful one.
In 2021, our goal is to continue to unite as a Touch community, and to encourage every girl to approach each training and game with positivity and diligence. We aim to help every girl reach her potential throughout the season, through hard work and persistence, while having fun playing as a team.
Having played touch for many years, our favourite experience is always the camaraderie of our Grammar sisters on the field. This supportive environment allows players to challenge themselves outside their comfort zone, without a fear of failure. We also want all girls to be truly passionate about this sport and as a result, their team.
We are honoured to be this year’s captains and under the guidance of our wonderful coordinator, Mrs Nisbett, and highly skilled team of coaches, we are ready for an unforgettable season and cannot wait to see all the players on the field.
